Ombré Brows

The Ombré Brows is one of the most popular techniques in the semi-permanent makeup industry. Interested in originality, Georgie has created her own version of the Ombré Brows – the GgBrow.  Rather than using a block colour throughout the entire brow, GgBrows uses a soft diluted colour at the front of the brow (around a 20% gradient) and then slowly increases the gradient to 80% at the tail of the brow. The result: a soft, misty and fluffy finish which compliments the natural shape and colour of the brow. The Ombré Brows technique will heal to reveal very natural results which last up to three years, providing aftercare is carried out correctly. The Ombré Brow is not only the perfect technique for creating a natural looking brow but can be tailored to suit the needs for each individual client.

Ombré Eyebrows vs Microblading

Microblading

Microblading is one of the most well-known techniques in the aesthetics industry. Carried out using a scalpel-like instrument, the procedure involves making small paper-cut like incisions in the skin. Each of these mimics a hair stroke to restore a naturally shapely brow. These smalls incisions are then filled with pigment close to your natural hair colour to seamlessly integrate with your existing brow hairs.

Overall, you can expect microbladed brows to last for 1-1.5 years before fading.

Micropigmentation (Ombré Eyebrows)

Micropigmentation (another name for the Ombré Eyebrows) offers alternative results to microblading. Instead of the fine lines of microblading, micropigmentation utilizes dots of pigments instead, more in line with traditional tattooing. These small dots allow colour to gradually be built up resulting in a more desirable ombre (and natural) effect. The result: Full, beautifully diffused brows that most MUA’s dream of being able to achieve. The healing time is similar to microbladed brows, but the results last 2-3 times as long! Micropigmentation also suits all skin types, whereas microblading hair strokes only suit a handful of skin types; this usually isn’t taught in training and can lead to problems with clients as time passes.

Corrective Work

If you require any corrective work to rectify issues caused by other technicians, please contact Ggbrows before booking for one of our services.

‘Do your research!’

Please do your research before booking in for a semi-permanent make-up procedure. You must choose the right technician for your needs, and remember, the cheapest option is never the best option! Paying a little bit more for your first procedure is better than having to fork out a load of money later down the line for corrective work (hyperlink to blog post on corrective work).

If you are unhappy with the results obtained at Ggbrows, please contact the company first and we will try our best to help.
